Owner and designer behind the label 150 Yards Ahead graduated with Master in Fashion design from Istituto Marangoni in Milan 2010. Head hunted to Italian Luxury brand Costume National right after graduating, made her become a part of Italian working life and Italian culture immediately. She decided to leave Costume National to get some new experiences up north in Copenhagen at the design Studio Henrik Vibskov. Ending her internship at Vibskov, she moved back to Milan to again work for Ennio Capasa and Costume National.

Costume National, Ennio Capasa and Vibskov have all together been an important part of what has formed her as a designer like we see her today. She stayed in Milan until 2014, then she moved back to Norway. Back in Norway she started to work and launch the idea of her own label, which today is known as 150 Yards Ahead.

”I decided to start out calm and easy to include all the elements important to build the brand around. Music, places, lifestyle, culture and personality are some of the important elements the label is representing today. Growing up in this small super sportive place, Voss located in Norway, where winters and summers mostly happened outside, I discovered early a passion for skateboarding and snowboarding. Also admitting I would never make a career in any of these, my passion became more pointed towards the cultural lifestyle and the image around. I remember late part of the 90´s when my goals were to design for brands like Stussy, Carhartt, etc. But growing I found a value in fashion that learned me about the construction and the complete work behind high fashion pieces and collections.

There´s so many elements behind, it´s like a puzzle. But when it all comes togetherIt´s all worth it”
